Read your offer letter. Kpmg has a 1 year clawback for CPA bonus
Most likely. It should be in the paperwork you sent though.
At my firm, you "owe" the bonus back to the firm over the next 12 months. Each month that passes from the day you received the bonus, you "owe" 1/12 less.
Pretty sure almost every firm claws back their CPA bonus if you quit within a year of receiving it
probably not
Also they are going to request the full amount, regardless of what they withheld for taxes.
Your firm didn’t withhold the taxes, the government did. When you file your taxes at the end of the year you reduce your income by the bonus amount and will get the corresponding taxes refunded. Relax
Yes if you leave within 1 year of receiving the bonus you owe some/all of it back
It should be on a document you signed, regarding the terms of your bonus. When I was at a national firm, you had to pay back the CPA bonus unless you stayed with the firm from 1 year from when you were actually paid the bonus.
Savage we love to see it, get that bread & leave
