I started my career at a small company with just three people, where I initially learned WordPress, then moved on to the MERN stack, and React Native as needed. I worked on various projects in both MERN and React Native over nearly two years. However, since it was a small company, they didn’t provide an experience letter when I left. I then joined a new company as a Trainee Software Developer. Now, after completing one year there, my CTC is 3.6 LPA. Is this considered underpaid?

Recently, my appraisal cycle got completed. So whenever a recruiter asks about CTC, will I need to add the Gratuity and Insurance and then tell the Total number.

In my company Total CTC = CTC + Gratuity + Insurance.

When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year.
