I think it's time to walk on this one, but I wanted some advice first. A recruiter ignored me for two weeks, then came back with a lowball offer. I feel like they expect me to just be happy they responded at all. Is that manipulative of them, or is this normal in the hiring process now? Do I negotiate now that they already made me feel like an afterthought?

Working for MBB was my dream throughout undergrad. I just signed an offer for a role I am excited about at FAANG, but I can’t help but feel twinges of jealousy for people who are getting into MBB with the recent increase in experienced hiring. Please help me 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research.
