I took an Uber from LGA back home. It was totally down-pouring for the majority of the drive. While on the parkway, the windshield wipers stopped working and we had to drive without wipers until we could pull over. The driver got out and banged them on the windshield until they worked again. This happened 3x over a 50 minute car ride.

Should I file a complaint to Uber?

Yes for the sake of future passengers. You made it home but that is a recipe for an accident

like

Definitely. It’s for a safety. For the driver, other vehicles on the street as well. If the driver doesn’t get a warning this time, he’ll do it again and also under maintain other parts too. It’s a mentality that we better help each other

like

Did you talk to driver about it? Did he say it was a new issue? If it feels chronic definitely complain as it is a safety issue but do give some grace to the driver if he stepped out several times in the pouring rain to try fix it
