I am not good in trading. Earlier had some with motilal oswal, have to check it's status and close as Citi does not permit trading outside I guess.
Since I recently joined Citi, Now I want to learn and do trading inside citi. I really want to master this skill ..
Please guide me on this.
Thanks in advance Citi India Cognizant Infosys Tata Consultancy
I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

Sorry to hear that but Austin is absolutely buzzing with opportunity. You may have moved for a role but maybe it happened to be a catalyst for change to open a bigger door for you.
Just focus on the positives and what you bring. Layoffs are (unfortunately) a new normal in this world. People don't scrutinize hops as much. Austin is a great city to find opportunity in-- i hope that this sets you up for something better.

Your post is so bad and I'm so sorry. It's a good lesson to everyone out there. My dad was a job hopper. Not in a bad way but once he fixed something he had to move on. He would always take a job and then leave us where we were while he went to work the job until he was sure he was staying. It was a bit expensive for a bit but we never got that situation. I wish you nothing but luck and hope you find something quickly.
I’m so sorry. I hate that these corporations can discard us so frivolously after we legit change and risk our lives for them.
Being a “job hopper” in 2026 means nothing, especially when the job you hopped from did mass layoffs.
I don’t know anything about Austin, but immediately apply for as much government assistance you are entitled to and apply to as many local and remote positions you can. Don’t just rely on LinkedIn or Indeed to pull jobs, google your local small agencies or companies and apply directly through their career portals.
Coming from someone who was also laid off this week, it’s a tough market, but there is something available, especially if you’re immediately available and local enough to be on-site or hybrid. Good luck!
Oh! Also sign up with staffing agencies. They may be able to get you some contract work to hold you over until you find something full time
Very sorry to hear that, that’s awful…I had a similar situation early in my career and it was tough, but keep your head down and find opportunities. Austin is full of them thankfully.

First, im sorry to hear that happened to you, thats terrible. Second, while I dont live in Austin, ive heard good things about the job market there. I think any recruiter would understand that this situation could happen to anyone, and it may make you look like an active risk taker in a good way!

Happened to my friend at Wayfair moved from Japan to Germany and was laid off one day after they started. It was insane but she met her fiancee when she burst into tears outside her office. So turned into a good movie.
