Pay it off yesterday
I can't comprehend how people with skulls this thick manage to get jobs at a firm like Deloitte...
Thats hilarious... breaches the policy, for a good $3k, and wonders how long can he keep this up. I think OP needs to start wondering how he will find a new job, with this track record of epic fail.
You may have been lucky with expenses to roll forward to cover the balance due. But don't let it slide. It will catch up with you. You need to reconcile your personal charges and submit to AMEX ASAP. when you become delinquent, you get nastygrams, and leadership and your counselor are looped in. You will be responsible for late fees and will lose your points. So fix this now before it's too late. And NEVER use you corporate card for personal expenses again. Huge no no.
You sure you're not getting interest charges? I'm sure your corporate remittance is meeting the minimum payment.
Why wouldn't you pay it off?
Didn't realize it until recently mate
I have personally see people get fired for that
I have used mine for personal expenses but at PwC you can either pull in through the buffer or pay Amex from your personal account. I have never spent more than $100, and just pay it off from my personal.
I would pay it off ASAP... It'll look bad if escalated
Didn't know that.. Will pay it off
Yes, would recommend pay it off. If leadership finds out, at least you can say you are paying it off.
This is one reason why I disagree with the firm moving to direct payment of expenses to Amex a few years back. (Although my main reason is bc I want complete control.)
