Get SHRM certified
Some times consulting firms will let you rotate through HR. Alternatively you could try to be an assistant or generalist at a small company to move to a BP role or get a cert and try to pivot. Idk about the cert route for an immediate pivot though. My classmates in grad school were successful moving into HR after their MBA though.
That’s a waste of an MBA, you don’t need one of those to become an HRBP
I see you are a consultant - how many years have you been consulting in the HR space?
You prob won’t move right into an HRBP role. I’d suggest looking for lower levels to start. Lots of transferable skills but there’s lots of basic HR stuff you’ll need to add to your toolbelt
