After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

Currently a CSA in PWM at a top wealth management bank (think UBS/MS/GS) but not loving private client work. What have other CSAs gone on to do that’s outside of the PWM realm?

I was planning to decline a job offer at McKinsey and before I could email he called and asked for final decision and I said I cannot join due to a personal reason, which is the case in reality and just mention I was about to drop an email and apologised for the inconvenience.

How to reject an offer if joining is in 2 weeks?

I was interviewing a candidate. He was a bit nervous so, I tried calming him down and it was going fine until I started asking questions from DSA. I asked him to write a code and he turned off his video. I kept asking if he could hear me on call and chat. Then he put himself on mute. He said that we can wrap up the interview in chat. Did I scare him off? I feel bad. 😟

1. He joined from his phone so can’t code.
2. Told me, there’s a powercut in his area.
3. Kept looking here and there.

I have my naukri profile active after getting the offer. Now the consultancy called me saying that your profile is still open. Are you going to join or not. Why are you still looking for an offer.
I said, I will deactivate as I don't have any other offer except them.
