I want to share my experience with Wipro's Extended Bench Leavepolicy to clear up any confusion. With 14 years of experience, After 43 days on the bench, HR informed me that if I reached 45 days without a project, I would be moved to EXBL.This phase is a LOP I decided to resign after one week on EXBL. To my surprise, I received my final settlement promptly, which included three months' salary in advance. This payment covered the notice period.Hope this helps people who are in my situation.Thanks

A friend is considering deferring an offer (stem PhD) for 1 year straight out of undergrad to work in NY, either in a research institution or a biotech.
