I want to switch my job but don’t feel motivated. I lost my job last March and got a new one in January but it was a lateral move. I have been stuck on the same salary for years. I know I’m highly underpaid at the moment. But Everytime I am ready to work on my job search, I feel really dumb and stupid. Plus I’m dating a guy who is extremely smart and doing very well in his career. His friends are extremely successful too. All this is really overwhelming me. How do I get started?

Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will be selected within 7-8 days.The MNC will be offering good package,but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. I miss music. Like actual bands with instruments and vocal ability. Feels like the music industry is so hollowed out that multi-member instrumental bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and even Metallica are no longer able to take root.

I generally feel confident in my work, but lately when I make mistake, I just overthink everything afterwards. I start worrying about people judging me or not wanting to work with me on my own team and client. Some people say “imposter” syndrome might be affecting me. I work part time for a startup for equity and am attending an event on behalf of the startup. I’ve only been here a few months and asked multiple times to have a prep meeting with my boss. He instead sent me a 15 page document outlining 40 questions I should be able to answer the day before the event.
