I was a junior front-end dev at a startup doing exactly what they asked every week, but was just let go after two months. It was only my 2nd dev job. The founder told me the project is outgrowing my skill set, and they’re replacing me with a senior. He made sure to tell me I did nothing wrong and appreciated that I'm a fast learner... but I'm still out of work. Is this normal for startups? How do I get experience now?

Unfortunately it is. Smaller companies have seasons where they require different skillsets

Hi Folks, I am from Mumbai, India. An HR professional with 17 years of experience across Talent acquisition, Business partnering, Automation (ATS) tools, senior stakeholders and team management.
I wanted to check what would be the approx. salary range for a similar experienced professional across companies in Germany / Singapore / Vietnam / other European countries?
An understanding of the basic, variable bonus, ESOPs and other components details will be extremely helpful. Thanks.

What’s an acceptable salary for a entry level customer success manager role in cybersecurity? Coming on with 3 years related experience.

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. Even though I’m licensed to write my own business, the sole producer in the company is my boss. I currently make 35k + 15k in commissions (approximately). Is this a normal salary? Or how much should I be making? Appreciate your help

I feel like I’ve been neglecting this bowl. 😔 I’ve been doing keto with 16/8 intermittent fasting for the past month. By the time it hits my eating window, I’m starving and I don’t have time to make instagrammable meals. Like the one below 😄: Eggs and breakfast sausage with Spanish and Buttered cauliflower rice, and a salad. Not very exciting, I know. But what’s exciting is I dropped 15lbs!!! 😁

Hi fishes,
I was selected for a l3 role via IJP in the 1st week of may and the hiring manager informed me via email that i had been selected for the role and requested confirmation to proceed with offer letter generation. I didn't hear anything from HM after that. When can I expect to receive an internal offer letter? Should I contact HM to know about the status ? Please provide some insights. TIA :)

I am currently a civil engineer thinking of switching to software engineering. I got my masters in water resource engineering where I was coding a decent amount for assignments and it has really stuck with me. Unfortunately, in my current role and field (civil), I don’t really get to do much coding. Does anyone have a similar experience of jumping ship to do software engineering? What would be the best way to go about it (coding bootcamp, another degree, something else)?
