JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase
I am currently pursuing a position to be a 401k workplace planning consultant with Fidelity Investments. I would like to connect with someone who has gone through that training and early hiring process to make sure I have a solid understanding of the position. This is specifically for the Raleigh/Durham NC area if possible.

Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
Although Amazon has instituted a hiring freeze and layoffs are probably on their way, I went through the loop for a security engineer position at AWS. Before I attended the final interviews, Amazon placed the hiring freeze and called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead or cancel my application. I decided do go ahead Right now I'm waiting for their response and the position I applied to changed from "under consideration" to "no longer under consideration". Thoughts?

I just said it. Either in recruiter screen or CV blurb. It’s not uncommon. Either ppl have gaps due to lay offs or freelance work or sabbatical. I notice if you’re confident others will be as well.
Gaps are common in today's market, I've attended AMAs by recruiters and hiring managers who assured us this is normal and there is no stigma.
I took a sabbatical that turned into 20 months of unemployment. On my resume, I highlighted productive things I did during that time: led professional workshops, gave talks to community groups and university classes, took some relevant online courses for certifications, and organized networking/professional events for people in my field.
Additionally I tried to start my own LLC during that time (I didn't do anything with it, but I filed with my secretary of state and still pay the fees / file reports each year), which also covers me for employment gaps during background checks.
