i feel like i’m in a nice venn diagram of skills. i’m technical, client facing, and have decent business sense (i think lol).

2 YOE in analytics at an ad agency. i do work around market research, media reporting, and incrementality (store visits, brand lift, etc).

stack: alteryx, tableau, spss, excel.

i can kinda read and write sql/python, but rusty from not using it in my day to day.

Can we reject the project if that project requires to work from office.

Hi all! I picked up a part time job as “computer support” a few months ago and have since found myself doing a lot more than anticipated. I handle installation and maintenance of Burglar systems, access control, video surveillance, network systems, POS workstations, VoIP, and payment terminals. I took the job with no “formal” education in tech. My “trainer” at the company was a joke, I basically taught myself everything. What do you think would be a reasonable hourly pay for such a person?

I hate rejecting interviewees. :( some of them are genuinely nice people and I think many of them have potentials, but just not the right fit for my team because of skill sets and experience level. I know there’s no perfect candidate and all but some are just not going to be the right hires. It’s ny first time hiring ppl so it feels very uncomfortable and guilty. And I think “hiring based on attitude” is very idealistic and not applicable in most real life scenarios
