Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock

Run.
Hell no. They clearly have no idea what an agency producer does.
Sometimes you do have to make them if you don’t have creative support at your agency. I’ve made plenty of briefs and ppbs
I’ve made them but I’m not sure these would be a good judgement on if you’re qualified for the role. Seems very strange
Run! It sounds like he’s fishing for examples because he doesn’t know how or what to do.
This isn’t right. I think I know who this is and if I’m right, run, don’t walk away!
It may be “right” in their world but I would be leery of such a request. Sounds like they are asking you to wear two hats for the price of one!
Sounds like they want you to sell the job to the client in addition to bidding it out internally or with vendors. That’s an EP position at a minimum if you’re combining sales with execution.
Sounds weird. I’ve never been asked to do this? Who interviewed you? Sounds amateur hour
Of course I have plenty of PPBs I could share with him but I can’t claim to have made them myself since I didn’t. As for his “pitch decks”, he is saying it’s 50percent of the job and there are no creatives at the company. The producer comes up with the ideas for the videos and maps them out in keynote to present to the client It’s definitely very different. I think all I can do is explain to him that it’s never been part of my job before and so if I don’t get the job because of that I guess that’s it
Asking for pre pro books is odd. Might be looking for call lists to build a freelance stable
I agree it’s weird, definitely not traditional agency world. It’s a tiny start up company that creates 15-30 second videos for selling merchandise from your phone. I thought it might be cool for something different but I am not sure...
Is this for freelance or staff? He could also be asking for this because he needs a template for future use
It’s Freelance. He said he has a template and will share with me but likewise wants to see my examples. I was thinking I will tell him that I could share examples but I can’t say I made them myself.
Ok now he’s asking for the pre pro books indicating my role, links to the final work and for me to explain my role in more detail even though he already has my portfolio and resume. In addition even though I explained that I don’t typically create the decks or books, he is still asking for any samples of decks that showcase my creativity and keynote skills. Hmmmm...
Thank you everyone! @content producer1 yes they are asking for two hats. Claiming this is 50% creative and building the creative decks in keynote is half the job. I sent over more examples of my work, and a couple prepro books and again explained that I have no examples of decks in keynote as that’s never been something I’ve done as a producer. Never heard back. Oh well!
