I was laid off a few months ago and the agency had my things shipped to my house. The boxes were packed so carelessly, many of my belongings are broken. Do I have any recourse to get the agency to replace them?

I have been laid off going on 3 months now and I’ve never felt so discouraged in my life. This job hunt for me has been frustrating and draining. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

I totally understand the hustle of emailing people you don’t know to create opportunities. I just don’t understand why obscure vendors email creatives rather than production 🤦🏻‍♂️
