I was laid off back in January and have been on the job hunt since. I’ve been lucky enough to make it to the final round for a few different companies... but ultimately did not receive an offer. Starting to have a hard time keeping my head up... any other fish in a similar situation?

Hi, How much time does Bosch take to release the offer after HR round?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

When emailing someone for an interview for the first time do you address them by Mr/Mrs last name or by their first name?

Shall I disclose reason for leaving a firm during my initial call with a recruiter from said firm, if I was laid off? Are they privy to that information. Ironically being recruited by that same firm

Anyone who has been through both rounds at MBB - does case difficulty get any harder between round 1 and 2? Or is it just the level of interviewer?

I know agencies across the board did some layoffs right before the holidays, but when do we think hiring will pick up again? Getting to a point where I feel like I need to start thinking about a change.

Who has the best talent in the industry? Is a big name agency on your resume really worth anything over smaller firms, if there is no talent difference across big vs small agencies?

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
