I was offered a job with a contract that did not contain a deadline for response. I advised the employer when I would respond to them following my review of it. No response. I did so a few days later on a Friday. When I didn’t receive a response on Tuesday, I forwarded it to the other individual who had interviewed me in case the first one was on vacation. The first one then responded that they had given the job to another candidate. No warning. Was this unprofessional of them?
