If a company calls you family, run. That phrase has burned me more than any bad contract. At my last job, it meant guilt-tripped weekends, unpaid overtime, and emotional manipulation. They’d say, “We take care of our own,” right before dumping more work on us. I don’t think I’ve ever heard “we’re a family” used in a healthy way. What do you think, is that line always a red flag?
