Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to land my first product design role and I can’t seem to get my foot in the door. I’ve asked mentors from ADPlist to review my LinkedIn and resume as well as my portfolio and I haven’t had any luck. Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. Embarrassing to admit but I have a hard time putting my phone down and I’m sick of wasting my time. I’ve only found ones that allow you to block access to selected apps but it also allows you to end the blocking period whenever you’d like (thus not really helping my ADHD impulses).
