I had presented pretty much completely cis prior to the pandemic, but yeah… lots of introspection over the last year and a half has really dismantled my preconceived notions of why I presented that way, most of which were primarily societally driven, not what I actually wanted.
I’m def nervous to go back to the office too — in particular feeling that virtually none of my professional wardrobe represents my new (admittedly somewhat in-progress because I’m still figuring things out) gender identity. Feels like coming out all over again.
All that said… damn this feels right ☺️
I haven’t been back in office but have become more andro during COVID and am nervous to go back..

This. This. This. In pandemic I (🏳️⚧️👩🏻) have grown out my hair, gotten laser and started low dose hrt. I have been back to a few work events / in person days and presented male, which was surprisingly effective. (If anything my longer hair made me easier to point out at conferences.) I still stress about it, but much less so that I stress in situations where I wear T-shirts and shorts and my body changes are, well, more noticeable. …
I dress andro. Love my ties, vests, and lots of bling. I have experimented over the years a lot and found dress cis for interviews then as myself after hire.
