If I interview with PwC and don’t get a role, is there a time period where I can’t apply for any other roles? If so, how soon can I apply again?

Visa friends! Had an interview in London, got the verbal, and am doing the visa dance. Started the process 2 weeks ago with HR and now they've ghosted me since then, though they said I have stuff to fill out ASAP. Normal? And am I too American pushy if I reach out to the hiring manager (and my future team) for an update instead?

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

Need advice and pep talk because I’m certain I have chronic imposter syndrome :( Background on me, I have about 6 years of work experience post college but have gone through many companies because of layoffs and/or reorgs. With that, I’ve bounced a lot with different industries and have done different roles for a year max. My current role is about to be my longest (thank goodness, hitting about 2 years) but I feel like I’m not a SME in anything but I feel embarrassment for myself (Cont.)

My favorite part of consulting is helping the consultants I manage improve their public speaking by designing talking points, reducing their fear or anxiety around speaking, and improving their executive presence.

I read about people on this platform needing help in these areas. At the same time, I’ve been wanting to spend more time helping more people with these topics. If anyone would be interested in sharing about their public speaking-related challenges, feel free to DM!
