Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.
Did anyone meet people through this bowl?

Think they did a good job on this piece. It was a truly embarrassing moment for the firm, but I think it’s being handled as well as can be expected. Should go smoothly this year 🤞

Get out of audit. Go to transaction advisory immediately. You’re good enough to do it right now. They bill higher, they make more, hours are comparable at every level
Unfortunately at KPMG, well at least in the NYC office, advisory is only taking seniors from audit into Advisory. So us A2’s are going to have to prove ourselves for one more year
So you guys are doing senior audit associate in Big 4 audit working 65-80 hours/week for less than $100k in the most expensive city in the world with inflation at 10-15%? Audit 1s are making entry $80 k nowadays
Seniors in industry are making about $120k heads up
As a Bay Area person, y’all in NYC are SEVERELY underpaid.
Does Bay Area seniors make 130k?
You’re not getting 130k as a senior in audit. In advisory sure, but core audit, no way, even in HCOL.
S1 New York is $96
We have enough transplants here gentrifying everything
feels high if normal core audit.
Are you sure you're not looking at Advisory?
26K
Why are you not looking at manager positions with your experience? Do you not have cpa, cuz that will also limit your range.
I’m making 96k in CT as A2, with inflation, and trying to buy a house, I feel it’s barely enough
With all the bills, high gas prices, high costs for food, it add up. Without the inflation, I think I’d be more comfortable with my salary but now money is being drained for everything.
I'm in transaction advisory so no.
Audit seniors probably asking 110 at most.
S1s in NYC are 95-110.
Not in NYC audit. Well 110 base. Maybe all in but idk.
S1 at Deloitte NYC is around 95k
For Tysons office (DC area), it’s somewhere between 90-97
Thanks for sharing! Lol I knew some A1-A2s were making 80k+.
