Honestly feels like public accounting busy season all over again

Most likely should find a new job, but also evaluate how efficient you are.

Probably need a little more context. Is there some major project with a time crunch? Are there team shortages currently? Are you still getting up to speed?

I have 7 projects but nobody to delegate to

Hey fellow designers,

Is anyone else facing the brunt of working in a service based company and trying to move to a startup product company being dragged down by the 90 days notice period.

I have had a couple of interviews with good startup product companies where the main issue is my 90 days of notice period. Most startups simply run away at the mention of 90 days NP.

Even established product companies shy away at this. Has anyone recently switched despite this long a notice period?

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.
