Do you guys know of anyone who didn't get promoted from Staff 2 to Senior in the past?

My group is doing alot of regional coordination for m&a and reorganisations which I feel stuck in as I haven't learnt much substantive tax law...has anyone had this experience and did they switch to something else? E.g. US international tax

I'm a computer science engineer, working in the Pharmaceutical RWE domain for 2 years.
Even though I like the impact that my job creates, I often find myself wondering if I can actually get to a high position (e.g. CEO, Director of DS dept.) for a pharmaceutical company being from a technical background.

I’m a former educator that has transitioned to working for a SaaS company. I have been hired under one role but have been managing projects in design UX/UI, content management (auditing and process development), and governance (currently working on a bot project). As an A3, I finally understand why people work so late in busy season. It’s because you don’t get any work done until 6 pm, when the pings and meeting finally slow down. I can’t work on something for more than 10 minutes without something else popping up.
