Yes but they were experienced hires who were only with the firrm for <1 yr

like

Or they were on a crappy engadgment and got poor reviews because the people above them did.

like

Yes it happens all the time. There were some underperforming staff. Most see the writing on the wall and quit before they find out.

like

Yes but they transferee groups during their staff 2 year

Yeah, I know of one, the team said he wasn't ready so he moved to a different team and got promoted the next year. I don't know the specifics I just knew it happened. This was a few years ago

All the time

Yes

I'll add that they were both gone from the firm within 6 months.

Oof. True or not true? I don't know if I would still make the same choice if I knew how things were going to end up. I tend to be on the "PBM's ruined pharmacy" brigade. If you knew then what you know now, would you still go to pharmacy school?

I landed what has been my dream job for years - a position at a music law firm - despite having no experience in the industry and no transactional background. I think I’ve landed a once in a lifetime opportunity and can swing the pay cut since I have no student debt. Thoughts?

Stub year in a free market firm frustrated about hours. Everyone was complaining about being slow last month, but it seems most passed 100 hours and I only got 60. I’ve been doing everything mgmt says to do but I’m making no progress in getting work. I can’t help but think I don’t fit in here and people don’t like me - especially because I went to a lower-ranked school, grew up poor, and am neurodivergent so networking is hard for me. Whole system feels very nepotistic. I just want to give up.
