it should! PMPing ain't easy!
Nicely done
Probably a pay cut.
PMP won’t give you a pay bump in the way an MBA does. like MBA associates literally have $20k higher salaries than non-MBA associates at some firms. i can promise you that the pay bump for a PMP will be $0. however, some clients might be looking for a PMP, so it could open you up to more roles, which could mean more money, etc. but honestly PMP is not that hard to get and doesn’t really teach you anything. it basically says “i care just enough about my job to have obtained this useless qualification that some people foolishly think is impressive."
I have a top 50 MBA 🤣 + PMP and many other certs. It checks all the boxes for HR and gives me a leg up on other candidates when interviewing. Also, when interviewing with clients for projects it helps. It is more of “checks all the boxes” than career advancement or pay. Certs and degrees help when you are trying to break into something outside your network - gives some people peace of mind that they made the right hiring/staffing decision.
Good feedback...which is what I was thinking. Thanks!
No.
I guarantee you every certification in the world and Intial after your MBA won’t do anything except make your interviewer role their eyes

Consultant BA BS MBA CFA PMP
I can see that as well. Thanks for the feedback!
Depends on which MBA. The good MBA gives you much higher pay so no (on average, not absolute sense).
OP, normally top 20 or 30 if you stretch it.
Also depends on where you are at your career. Some people in top 20 don’t have good jobs so pmp could help but that’s rare.
If you’re making more than a typical pmp then it won’t matter. Unless you need pmp to be like a lead pmp role with high pay.
Nope
