getting out in nature, waaaay out. I use my state park system and I basically force my family to hike with me; I need alot of personal time in the woods and as its not safe to do alone, we do it as a family

+1 for time out in nature. I kayak regularly and meet up with college friends once or twice a year to hike through state parks. That, working out, cooking and working on projects around the house keeps me busy and feeling reasonably sane.

Therapy.

Too expensive with very little income.

I recently got into watching Formula 1 racing.

I'm not a typical sports fan but I like F1's combination of competition, skill, engineering / technology, teamwork, human drama, strategy, etc.

For me, getting politically active and testifying for or against bills, at the state capitol, or helping organizing town halls, or join protests, has been my saving grace. I'm not getting depressed often, after applying to ~1200 positions, in the last 6 months of unemployment, and have had 4 recruiters reaching back. Have my third actual interview tomorrow.

I’m new to the immigration practice, and recently submitted an I-129 for 15 H-2B landscape workers. I knew the deadline would be close, but I convinced the client that we could take the chance. The cap count was reached after we submitted, so no approval. Is there any other avenue to bring over those workers or is he screwed?

Are any RIAs charging for maddening 529 plans? If so, how?

Does anyone have a list of the things (food, drink, other OTC meds) that make adderall less effective? I know I can simple google search and ask my doctor but want to hear other peoples thoughts…I love drinking my coffee to wake me up in the morning but I’m afraid it’s making my meds less bc of its acidic nature 😵

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. It was fine when I was living alone but my partner is seriously frustrated with how messy the house gets and how much I spend on supplies for these things. How can I be less impulsive OR how can I stay motivated past the 10 day mark?? TIA

I just started meds yesterday and the change in my focus and attention to detail is mind blowing. My only concern is, just yesterday I had a tough feedback session with my manager around how I’m taking too long to complete my work, giving them anxiety around close deadlines. I’m new in the job (3 months in). Should I explain anything about my adhd to my manager or just wait for them to notice the change in me?
