Depends on how much I make. If it’s $200K vs $180K + more enjoyable work, maybe. But it’s $50K vs $45K, no.
That's a interesting question. I wouldn't want to take a cut in pay. Plus, I'm not sure how the fun would be quantified. Dollars I can count. Fun, I'm not so sure. Maybe I'd go for the fun option if I knew how it would arrive, otherwise I'd take the dollars.
It depends on the pay and amount of fun I’m already having. With my current position I enjoy it so I’ll keep my pay
Money for me. I will use the extra pay to fund the kind of lifestyle and fun activities I want in my life. Especially now that I have a family of my own, I need all the money I can get. I'd say it depends on where you are at life.
I'd take the money every time. 10% more fun wouldn't bee enough to sway me, 50% might.
For me, it depends on whether the 10% job has room for promotion or regular raises. If your mental health is improved with the 10% fun job AND you can get that 10% back relatively quickly, I would go for it.
That's a tough one! It really depends on what you value most in your life right now. If you're looking for more joy and fulfillment in your daily routine, the more fun job might be the way to go. On the other hand, if financial stability is a priority, sticking with the higher-paying job could be the better choice.
It depends on what that 10% amounts to but more than likely I would say I would take a job that would be more fun and I would likely enjoy more. To me that would be worth taking a little bit of a pay cut.
