For those of you working from home, do you know whether your coworkers will be throwing a baby shower for you? I feel like without being visibly pregnant to most people (since we are not in the office), I feel like I’m going to miss out on having one which is kind of a bummer since I’ve always gotten gifts for others.

She declined the meeting and directed me to review the policy documentation online and email her with any specific questions I have. Is that normal? Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?

6 months pregnant and shot a 94 over the weekend - I haven’t played that well since high school! Had to share with some folks who might appreciate it - husband shot one of the worst rounds of his life, so I can’t revel in the accomplishment with him. 😆🏌🏻‍♀️

I gained weight during my last relationship (probably around 30 lbs, and I’m 5’9”). Before my relationship, I felt like I could get any guy. Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

Mood - tired & grumpy during the day cos of no sleep, bad sleep, bad food choices

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day.
