Not sure if I’ll take the full but I’ll definitely ask for the full amount (3 mos paid 3 mos unpaid). I’m fortunate enough to be able to and I can always come back earlier.

I am 25 years old with in hand salary of 1L(just from last month) and i want to buy a term insurance plan. My questions are:
1. Is it wise to take 2 plans of term insurance one with return of 60 years and another without return of 80 years of each 1cr.
2. Is it wise to include health riders in insurance plan to claim for 80d or just chose health insu
3. How much one can ideally shell out for insurance per month (both term and health) for self in terms of percentage of monthly income.

Started in BL as a midlevel two weeks back and had a pre planned vacation which I’ve let anyone who I’m working with know about (in addition to letting the firm know before I started). Still feel like I am setting myself back - I have also let everyone know I am available in case needed and offered to help in any way I can but I haven’t offered to work through the vacation. Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day. If you are still working as a lawyer full time and growing a human it is something to be proud of!
