As in foot the bill for the entire party? If so, no. I'd expect everyone to pay their own bill. I'd definitely go to dinner first. Bowling feels like a later night event, not pre-dinner time.
Yes, foot the entire bill.
Thank you!
I think friends understand your financial situation and would go whatever way needed to have a good night
If you invite someone to something, you pay for it. Unless you have a group of friends and everybody usually pays for themselves and there's some casual arrangement like that. It would just seem odd to invite people out and then expect them to reach for their wallets.
I wouldn't expect to pay for guests at my own birthday party. If I was throwing a party for someone else, I'd clearly communicate to the guests what I was and wasn't planning on covering.
I would do dinner and then bowling but that is just me. I would presume everyone would pay for their own, however, knowing my friends someone would end up paying for my bowling and dinner because that is just how they are.. I don't think anyone expects you to pay for them though just because you invited them.
