I'm a fresh graduate this year, and finished internships at 3 banks, how can I prepare for interviews of banks? and what about skills that should I improve to work as a banker?

I seem to always bomb the first round of any case interviews despite practicing and prepping… Anyone have any tips or am i just stupid? 😂

Once you’ve applied via referral link to a position, does it keep you in a referral pool or do you need to constantly get a new referral link if you apply to another role say 4 months later? Curious since they only last 30 days and i feel bad asking for a link a 3rd time now…..

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. I’m a financial advisor (Series 7 and 66) and I really wish I would have become an accountant or investment banker. I like advising, but it’s a grind to find people to make new clients to sell to in order to survive. Are there any exit strategies for a successful young 26 y/o advisor to move to investment banking or a salaried advisor job?

Nyc based. Is it at all possible to make at least 200 base in corp dev or strategy at a tech company? Super burned out but don’t want to take a paycut in base. I realize I’ll never make all in comp the same in tech but if I can match base I’d be content.

What do you do if you receive an IOI that is insultingly low? I feel like a lot of problems would be solved by putting a price on the company rather than go through the bid process.
