I'm a junior lit associate and I have a round of interviews next week for a firm's privacy group. Any tips on how to prepare, since I have no privacy work experience? The group does regulatory, policy, transactional, etc. (everything except litigation), so I'm not sure how I should be pitching myself.

Is it ok to tell your boss/job that you're looking to transition to product, and tell recruiters you're looking for roles in product before you've quit your other job? Or should I wait until I get an offer before telling anyone. I don't want to lose my job or disappoint my boss but product is where I want to end up and I'm working towards that.

Has anyone taken the CIPP/US exam online/remotely? Also how many times did y’all reschedule before actually taking it…I felt like I kept putting the registration off, so I finally scheduled it for this weekend—that won’t be happening.

I’m currently doing IR work but would like to do something more on the technical side (ie: more forensics or technical). Does anyone know if forensics firms or any firm that offers a mix ? I have both a Cipp-Us and cyber/ Sec+ certs.
