I went from working in SC for a F500 to consulting about five years back. I was hired by a smaller firm that was willing to take a chance on a guy with no consulting experience, as a senior. Because of the size of the firm, my pay was comparable to what I was making. I found the hours to be 10-20% more (45-50).
Absolutely. I work in transformation now actually and feel my opportunities post-consult look great.
Pay should be in the $100-150k range. Hours in my experience go way up - 50-65 hours a week (big 4)
Unless you’re in Canada, which would make it $100-110K at a Big 4
DM me. EY is hiring in supply chain. Happy to refer. Hours are project dependent, I’ve been on 45-50 hour a week projects and 60-70 hour a week projects. I came from industry as well. Pay is dependent on city but $100-$150 is an accurate peanut butter range. Seniors are work horses but you’ll learn a lot. Good balance of getting in the details on projects and getting quality client facing experience.
Would you consider refering me? I am looking to get into new role also.
50ish hrs but varies A LOT by project, and 100k+ depending on which location and firm
Accenture is hiring in supply chain, PM me to refer you if you see any openings you’re interested in
