I'm a US citizen living overseas, want to move back home but would prefer to get a job there first. Is it possible to do almost all the interviews remotely? And after getting the job how long could I wait to start? (Gotta find a place to live etc). Looking for jobs in software, FAANG, consulting, that kinda thing.

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

But they told i will be getting link for uploading documents and then hr would be discussing for compensation.

Who knew interviews are a whole different process on its own. Very exhausting, answering lots of questions and thinking. I’m completely done with 2022 interviews. These interviews are just mhmmmm.

Leaving for a series C unicorn company with less than 1 YOE. Should I stay in consulting? The TC is 15% lower but the hours are 9-5 and ex MBB people with 3 YOE exit to the same position but one level above me.

Got an offer. But, the employer is not willing to wait for year end joining bonus. This is already an earned bonus for FY21 with payout 3 months later in Dec.
