I checked with few of my connections, they saying I will be mostly allocated to Salesforce industries (Vlocity) project. Please suggest about the team structure and work life balance for this role.
and also in future, is it possible to apply for IJP in Salesforce ?
Please provide your thoughts on this.

Regardless of the reason, this will hinder your growth significantly. You should consider changing teams
This does sound frustrating, and it’s understandable you’re questioning whether it’s about your ideas or about him. I'd think a calm, low stakes 1:1 where you share how you’re feeling and ask for specific feedback on your work (vs. your personality) could help you see whether this is salvageable or a sign to move on.
In a rom com, both of you will eventually be inseparable.
Creative chemistry is so important. I'm sure neither one of you is necessarily 'wrong' but you clearly aren't on the same wavelength. One way or another it can't continue. You either need to try to understand each other better (in the old days that would mean going out and getting sh*t-faced together after work) or you move on. Your progress depends on it.
Been there
Calm 1:1 where you directly address the tension. This could be bonding, and lead to stronger team dynamics, or revealing and you know you should do your best to leave, move on, transfer teams. It also might resolve well, but then there’s no actual change… And then you’ll also know it’s time to go.
Have you tried collaborating ie ask if he wants to brainstorm together early in the process? I worked for a while with a CD I often competed against who took every opportunity to politic their own ideas to the top - finally ended up on account they were running, thought it would be different but realized this person is so precious about their own ideas, they’ll never stop trying to kill my work (even tho they’d still get credit for it as the CD…). I don’t think it was intentional it was someone who thought they were a good and nice CD blinded by their own ego. The only things that stopped the sandbagging were if we literally cowrote a script or I focused on things the CD didn’t care / know much about like digital and social
