Im at about 1 year at my current firm. When from working at fisher investments where after 4 years full time I was still at an entry level position total comp with bonus and over time was 100k. Wasn’t allowed to switch roles several times due to market conditions and taking parental leave hurt me too. Moved to a small boutique firm that manages 1B, my base salary 100k with bonus its a bit more but I’m feeling stuck again. 8 years exp. in investments and want to be doing/making more. Any advice?

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
