I’m at EY-Parthenon’s Financial Services practice. Would it be better for my career prospects (PE/VC, strategy/corp development roles in industry) to move to the Financial Services team at Strategy& or are they broadly the same? I know pay at S& is better but I want to exclude that from this question. Thanks!

EYP1 aren’t EYP and S& the only T2 strategy practices in the B4? KPMG and Monitor Deloitte aren’t seen the same. How does the work differ between the two?
They are broadly the same in terms of brand, you would need to consider what kind of work you would be doing at each firm
You will be doing long term risk® or operational transformation projects in the FS practice at S& while doing CDDs and strategy/ transactions related work at EYP. Been at both places. The lines between S& and PwC, atleast in FS are very very blurry- unlike EYP

S& is much more integrated with the overall consulting practice at PwC than EYP is with EY. Makes you feel part of something broader versus a separate arm of the company.
See this is what partners don’t get. That’s not a selling point for outside hires. It helps you co-sell work but none of us actually want to be viewed as just another pwc employee. Everyone one of us under director wants to be a separate arm of the company.
