Honestly for me it was to learn fast and volunteer to take on more. I know internal don’t always happen or look the best, but it positions you competitively for the next offer from another company. I’ve jumped every 1-2 years into a new role and I’d say I climbed fairly fast

That’s been my experience on increasing your salary the fastest. Is that the fastest way to increase you title though.
Never think you have it all figured out. It will change. Be able to embrace that, and you will go far.

Job hopping every 2-3 years beats internal promotions by 15-30% typically. That's the fastest path. Internal raises rarely exceed 8-10%, even with promotion.
The people who climb fastest combine visible wins with constant external market calibration. They negotiate loudly, document their impact clearly, and aren't afraid to walk. They also build relationships outside their immediate team - sponsors matter more than managers.
What's your current strategy? Staying put and proving value, or actively testing the market?
