I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.
Is Huron hiring right now?

Stop saying things like soft skills to start lol
Ya could def switch if you showed initiative and data literacy, so my below tho, the grass isn’t always greener
Agreed with your move. I’m kinda going the other way around now. Being a data scientist for some years and want to pick up more strategy related skills. I believe in diversity😛
If you can teach me how to be a good Strat consultant, I can likely teach point you to skills to make you a highly effective analytics consultant.
An additional FYI, in traditional consulting firms, strategy folks are still the highest paid by a large margin in some cases. Keep that in mind as you look at switching, the days of the 500k TC Facebook data scientist are likely behind us, data is becoming more and more accessible and more and more niche, essentially the skill is becoming commoditized
why leaving strategy for data and analytics? curious
