I’m currently in cloud consulting and would really like to switch into a FAANG company. I was selected for interviews with Amazon, Facebook and Netflix but rejected after the first interview. I would really like to know what I’m doing wrong.. is there any services y’all use for interview prep or mock interview prep and feedback to better prepare?

Three job interviews with a company, last one creating a marketing plan and presenting to marketing VP. I received good feedback from him. Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. I’m really annoyed and tired. Thoughts?

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified? I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
