Control your own destiny. Talk directly to the recruiter about it, not necessarily the people you're interviewing with for a specific role.
Yes I would speak to the recruiter about it but I don’t think the recruiter I’m working with on the current role is recruiting for the other one I’m interested in. I would not speak with the hearing managers for the other role
I wouldn’t
Why not? Mention both roles interest you and about the status? They need you since they have openings and you have a role so you have the leverage here.
I recommend the latter (after interviews) because it won’t seem very professional to reply to an interview invite about another role
As a former recruiter at KPMG I would 100% mention it. We can see all roles that you’ve applied for but are only calling about the one you are suitable for in our area. Recruiters get so many applications for each position, mentioning to the recruiter you are interested in the other role should get them to speak to their colleague and get in front of that area hiring manager as well and could potentially be a joint first interview. IMO it doesn’t hurt at all.
Do you think it would make me look bad if I waited until the interview process is completed for this position (I’m currently in the second stage of three) and see what happens? Then mention the other role to the recruiter after it’s over (whether I receive an offer or not?)
