VCA Client Consulting Manager salary?
I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

It's acceptable because people will do it. That's the unfortunate reality, to be honest. There are a lot more applicants than there are jobs so employers can get away with this kind of thing!

Don’t do this that is a lot to ask. I would just say that! Unless you see the opportunity for a great networking opportunity than I would pass on by.
I’ve always believed there should be federal pay transparency laws. It’s frustrating—and a waste of everyone’s time—when you interview only to receive a lowball offer that’s far below what you need to accept the role. I completely understand your frustration; I would feel the same way.
When I was looking for work I quickly made it a personal policy NOT to apply for any position that did not list a salary range (after getting lowballed way too many times). If you are currently working, let them lure you, why chase question marks?
(*I now make significantly more than my last job because of this personal policy)

Just tell them you need to know the pay before you invest in that.
Her explanation was that salary is determined by a separate department like HR & will only share this information with a job offer, and depending on experience. But I call BS that she doesn’t know the range or approximate salary just to see if we’re in the right ballpark! Just games. I feel like they think if we invest enough time we’ll take the job no matter what, but I don’t play that way!!
