I’m expecting to go on maternity leave this summer, but I hate working at my current company. The work is uninspiring, the people are mediocre and I feel myself torn between quitting and finding a new job, but possibly losing paid leave, OR, sticking it out and taking mat leave then quitting. I was hired within the last year as a site supervisor. I did well my first few projects with the company. They asked if I’d be interested in transitioning into a construction manager role. I agreed. Now I still am the site supervisor on projects but I’m also doing all the construction manger duties on the project as well. Essentially 2 jobs for one salary. We have yearly reviews in December but no talks of raise have been discussed. Any help on approaching this to my boss?
