I'm feeling really disheartened by the low pay at the NHS. Back in 2020, when I started a Band 7 position, I was able to save at least £1,000 each month. Now, even in a Band 8 role, I'm struggling to set aside few hundreds monthly. The pay rises just don't match up with inflation, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating.

Currently a senior with 2.5 YOE(not including 7 months of internships). I want to apply to Pwc Senior Cyber Risk position, but the minimum YOE is 3. Is it worth my time applying for the role? Will I get eliminated off the bat due to YOE?

I have been offered from NTT data and a week ago they gave me a call to check if i can join early.. i said i am ok to join early if NTT is ready for buyout. They said they will come back on it and a day ago i can see that the recruiter has posted a job opening in naukri with the similer set of experience with what i have and i am little skeptical that will they revoke my offer. What a week

Took my first ever sick day today on account of my very poor and worsening mental health. Just could not bring myself to put in another 14 hour day with back to back meetings and constant activity. Felt very guilty but I honestly wish I could be more honest and actually share with my manager about why I took a day off.
