I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

This is 1000000% on them, not you. I know that doesn't make losing your job out of the blue any easier to handle, but seriously, good riddance. This company sounds like a complete joke. They set you up to fail and ensured you did. It stings now, but once you land a real job with a company that actually values its employees, you're going to be very happy things worked out the way they did.
This is so odd.. You didn’t deserve that, and you are right to vent. You showed up ready, asked questions, and did what they told you to do. Sounds like a total mismanagement issue on their part, not a reflection of your ability. I hope you’re giving yourself grace right now. Maybe take a beat before jumping back in full speed. Well, it's their loss, a place like that its not meant for you. My mom always says that "When one door closes, 3 other ones open up for you.
It sounds like they did you a favor. Any place operating like this is not built to last. Don't take it personal, this sounds like a company issue, not a you issue. Get back out there and find a place that has their stuff together.
wow, that is surprising to say the least, I hope you find a job that actually does make you feel welcome, and actually shows you what it is they need you to do, it seems it was irresponsible on their part, that goes to show that any and all companies should have good moral values, and good business ethics. Best of luck to you!!
It wasn’t you. Most likely higher-ups decided at the last minute to eliminate the position, probably for budgetary reasons, and didn’t want to have to pay unemployment, so they fired you instead being honest and laying you off (even though you only worked for a day).
Don't dwell on it to much. Just file for unemployment and state that the reason for filing is for their failure in setting you up on your first week of hire and then firing you for their mistakes and errors. If you're up for it, perhaps call their HR team and vent to them about it as well. Doesn't fix the situation that has already occurred but it does let them know that they failed as a company in their hiring process. Another option is to also leave an anonymous company review on Indeed, here on Glassdoor and even with the BBB. Yelp or Google too but your name shows for those so be careful if you leave reviews on those platforms!
Blessing in disguise. ♥
Wow, what a tacky company! So sorry that happened. Unfortunately, this happens, and it happens to good people more often than we realize. I was hired and started working in March, worked through April, and at the end of April was called into a meeting room and told that the office was "going in a different direction" and that my position was eliminated! No warning at all. However, for me it was best for my health as it was a terribly stressful position. Being unemployed and STILL looking isn't a great experience. I'm starting to wonder if I'm really just over-qualified for the level of employers there are in my area.
It's better to be freed from a situation that would probably just get worse over time. You are most likely a higher quality person and need better co-workers and supervisors than that job had. Hold that thought on your continuing journey!
This must be Bruegmann USA
I'm sorry you had to go through that. Count yourself lucky... it sounds like you dodged a real bullet there.
So sorry to hear this!
