I'm getting feedback from colleagues that, as a marketer, my resume should be more "designed"...with fonts and different columns. On the other hand, everything I read says that Applicant Tracking Systems at companies don't like any formatting and my resume should be very simple.

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? Would especially love to hear from people in marketing.

In the 1st round of interview, I was asked ML questions and basic Modelling approach on 2 cases.

Looking for feedback. What are your thoughts on when asked to provide a case study or project plan as a part of the interview process? I know BCD Travel and other start-ups make these kinds of request.

I was selected for a l3 role via IJP in the 1st week of may and the hiring manager informed me via email that i had been selected for the role and requested confirmation to proceed with offer letter generation. Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

Does anyone else have that one person who is more senior than you that is just always so condescending while adding no value themselves?
