I’m getting more “send me something I can forward” requests than actual meetings. One-pagers, case studies, ROI slides, security docs, the whole menu. Is anyone else basically running a mini marketing department in February? I don’t hate it, but it’s a lot when you’re also trying to create new pipe.

If they're asking you to send stuff they can forward, that's a good sign. It means they're trying to sell internally for you. I'd rather build 10 one-pagers for people who are actually interested in my product than sit through 10 discovery calls that go nowhere. Might feel like meaningless busywork now, but there's good potential for longterm payoff which makes it worth the effort.

My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months now. We talk every single day online and recently I went to visit her for around a month. It was great and it seemed like the relationship was stronger than ever. But one week back after visiting her, I felt a strange detachment from her and our conversation topic got repetitive and stale quick. Any advice?

Hi. I am a Transition teacher in California. I would like to know what is the ratio of students to staff for community outings in your districts? I have been teaching in my district for 20+ years and it has always been 4:1 ratio for our moderate/severe transition classes. Now our director is saying it's 6:1 and I don't feel like this is safe for our students.

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…
