I’m going through a divorce and my son’s spring break is coming up. Because of all the stress I’m trying to take him (3yrs old) and my 82 year old father to an inclusive resort that offers kid activities and golf. I’m in DC so looking at Florida or something easily accessible. Any ideas or reccs that are cost effective? Even if no golf on resort golf nearby (both my dad and I play) thanks in advance

Sarasota is incredibly senior friendly, lots of very easy walkable beaches, it is a driving centric city but Anna Maria Island is close by to stroll the promenade

We loved the Hyatt in Orlando. Lots of activities on property. But not golf or all inclusive.

Thank you for starting this bowl! I just turned 50. I had my one and only child at 41 and went straight into menopause. My symptoms were perhaps confused with postbpatrum and nursing hormone symptoms but bow my hair is dry and frizzy yet somehow also oily and my skin lacks luster and I gain weight so easily. Working from home for eight months has definitely hanged my body shape and not for the better!

Did anyone else adopt the new Florida Wonders curriculum? We just adopted it this school year, and I teach 4th grade. My team and I have not found a good flow, schedule, or whatever you want to call it. We feel like it teaches too many skills in one lesson, and we are not able to truly teach anything “deep” enough for students to master. Does anyone have any insight? What do you do? Do you like the curriculum? Why or why not? Would you be willing to share what you do weekly/daily? Thanks!

Has anyone here used the "Read Scripture" app? It goes through the entire Bible and includes accompanying summary videos from "The Bible Project" (whose videos can also be found on YouTube). I love how it groups portions of Scripture and the videos are helpful for making meaningful connections with the text. I love these for myself, but they're super kid-friendly, too. Excellent support for your daily study. Enjoy!

Baby furniture. What is everyone doing? FTM and trying to figure out if it’s worth investing in very expensive nursery furniture. We were looking at the Natart furniture collection and the Silva collections. These both come in at about $2000-$2400. The furniture is high quality and grows with the child. Alternatively I could go the lower end route at get everything for like $800. Is that wise? I hear horror stories about low quality and paint chipping from the baby teething on the crib.
