Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Sounds like, maybe you have more anxiety about interacting with younger people? If their attorneys they’ll probably still be professional. So if you get a comment about the fact that you work from home, just say that’s what works for your family and change the topic.

some may say "good to see you" genuinely, and not sarcastically! If people are condescending, pretend that you perceive it literally, and respond in kind. You don't owe anyone an explanation, unless the managing partner is trying to drag you into the office every day.
I said "so good to finally meet you" to a paralegal who I met in person for the first time earlier this week, after working with her for around 3 years with her working remotely. And I genuinely meant that it was great to meet her in person. I know it's not easy, but I'd try not to read past the surface of comments like that unless they're clearly sarcastic. Most people are comfortable with remote work now but still happy to meet team members in person.
I don’t think they’re being sarcastic because they say good to finally see you. It might just be good for them to finally meet you in person. It’s hard to build relationships virtually.
That assumes a lot of malice from a pretty tame nicety. I’d really consider that people are probably not going to be in attack mode in that setting, if they even care that you’re WFH.

You could start by remembering that people are thinking about you and care far less about what you're doing than you think

I’m in a similar boat: new parent and hired as WFH. My only response to people is basically “sucks to suck” but more politely. I usually try to make a joke about them looking taller or shorter on zoom and move on.

Just say, "it's so nice to see everyone!" and leave it. Don't feel like you need to meet their expectations. You aren't doing anything wrong.
Well I have heard from a mutual friend that some of them talked about it when I first got hired…so I guess that is why I’m paranoid!
Sounds like you’re looking to be offended. Try not to.
I think people will genuinely be happy to see you in person!
