I’m joining Deloitte as a SM next week. What are some of the benefits and challenges of entering D-Gang as a SM that I should know about?

Never been in an SE or consulting or B2B sales role before but have a referral at Salesforce and have been in some informal conversations. I’m starting to freak out a bit now that maybe I can’t do it. I have a tech background so can handle that part, but perhaps strategy may be difficult. I work as a Solution Specialist (sales rep) at an Authorizer Verizon retailer. Phone/wireless sales is not something I want to do forever. I have 4 years mobile sales experience and 3 additional years of niche sales/ customer service experience. I’m feeling stuck and every career/job move fells it is a step backwards. This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? Is Deloitte a staff aug organization? I’m interviewing with them and my last two consulting companies I worked with were glorified staffing agencies disguised as true consulting.
